Congradualtions President-elect Obama

We will all remember this day for the rest of our lives. No matter if you are a democrat, republican, or independent this is one of the most important days American politics has ever seen. Our country has taken a giant leap forward in electing a black man as our President. This should go without saying, but whether you voted for him or not we should all stand together in support of him, because he is the next leader of our country and he deserves our allegiance and respect. I'm sure I will be writing a bit about him in the weeks to come but I thought I would add this short note on the actual night of his election. Sleep well America, democracy rang out loud tonight and we should all be proud of that.

"I not only recognize, but respect that we are a nation in which the people choose and tonight they have chosen Senator Obama. He was not my choice, but he will be my President and I will pray for him to lead this great nation with God's help and grace. He will face serious challenges to lead our country and he will need all Americans to give him a chance"

- Mike Huckabee

Peace and love.
